Orlando Skatepark just had their annual Concrete Showdown where teams from all over the state come out and compete to to see who is the best team. Check out the video from the contest. Home team Osp (everyone in red shirts) took home the win of course!

Mike Heikkila's Interview on Typical Culture


Typical Culture is a skateboarding site based out of California. A while back a good friend of mine Russell Grundy moved from Florida to California, and ever since then he has been backing the Typical Culture site. I went on the other day to check it out and found an interview of another friend of mine named Mike Heikkila, who is an amazing photographer from Longwood, Florida.The interview might be old but the pictures are still great! BLOOZE Skateboards!!!

Some O-Town locals have started a new era with a grassroots board company called BLOOZE Skateboards. Ryan Garrett is driving the creative visuals along side a deep crew of skaters, ragers, and time travelers. Not sure who all rides for the team yet, or where you can buy the boards... but as things progress that info will be made available. I have seen and love the board graphics as I am a long time fan of Ryan's doodlings.

Evan Smith on tour and Skateboarding is Forever

For those of you who didn't know DC shoes just came down to orlando and did a signing at the G and then made a stop by Orlando Skate Park for a little Demo. It sure is weird having little Evan Smith signing a poster for you! Check out this clip of the DC team at the park on DC7zine

Also DC is putting out a video online called Skateboarding is Forever. Evans clip was just put online as DC officially announces him to the AM team. Congratulations Evan!
