Welcome to Southskate.com! This Blog started in May of 2005 as a web site for my senior project at UCF School of Film and Digital Media. Southskate has evolved over the years but it has always been the intention for it to spotlight skateboarding and skateboarding culture in Florida and around the South. Still based out of Orlando, most of what you see here is Central Florida skateboarding, with some posts from our friends in places like Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina.
From time to time you'll see some posts about NBA basketball, specifically the Orlando Magic. This is because here at Southskate, we are huge Magic fans and just can't help ourselves, especially around playoff time.
