Atlanta, GA, December 1, 2009 – Voting for the Bangers for Bucks skate contest at Surf Expo starts today! Shops from across the country are vying for the final three slots for the retail shop contest, sponsored by Eastern Skateboard Supply and Vans.
The Selection Process
A total of ten teams representing skate retail shops will compete January 14-15 in Orlando. Three of these teams have been selected by Surf Expo based on industry recommendations and consistent support shown for the skate industry. Four other teams were selected by skate media representatives from FTK Magazine and Focus Magazine.
The final three slots are up to voters. These “Fan Favorite” shops will be chosen from shops who submitted a video to surfexpo.com. The three teams that receive the most votes will win an invitation to compete.
